When it comes to treating neck and back pain, there are a number of modalities to get you back to feeling your best. At Ultimate Health Medical Clinic, we don’t have a one-size-fits-all way of practicing chiropractic care. Instead, we work with each individual patient to see what can be most beneficial for you.

With that being said, our Spinal Decompression Therapy is a popular service at our Littleton chiropractor’s office and for good reason as it’s a fast and easy treatment, not to mention one of the most effective treatments for sciatica and other lower back pain issues.

Spinal Decompression Machine

Our spinal decompression machine is a motorized table, which has a lower half that can move. Patient will lie on the table, and while the upper portion of the machine doesn’t move, the lower power gently slides back and forth to provide traction as well as relaxation. In fact, many of our patients fall asleep when on our spinal decompression table, because it’s a gentle stretch that feels good and can lull you to sleep. For treatments like disc problems in your lumbar spine or lower back pain, our staff will place a hardness around your hips, which is attached to the lower end of the table, close to your feet.

The procedure isn’t painful, but rather a gentle stretch of the spine as it’s being intermittently stretched and relaxed throughout the course of the 30-45 minute treatments. Most of our patients add this service on to their existing Littleton chiropractor appointment before or after a chiropractic adjustment. We’ve noticed a series of 15-30 treatments throughout the course of 5-6 weeks are most beneficial for our patients, but many patients feel immediate relief after spinal decompression therapy at our Littleton office.
